Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted at Breaking the Spine, and the object is to spotlight a book you are waiting patiently (or not-so-patiently, more likely) to read.
What book? Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
When does it come out? May 2012
Why am I waiting on this book? I love love love the Graceling series (Oh, excuse me, I guess it's technically the Seven Kingdoms series. In my mind, it's the Graceling series). I discovered Graceling last year, read it at superhuman speed, and proceeded to make my friends Lynne and Grace read it because it was just that good. At the beginning of Fire, I did not think I would like it as much, but I wound up loving it, too. The books all take place in this original world with lots of romance and danger and adventure. The characters are always so original, and I enjoy Cashore's writing. I cannot wait to find out what happens next in the seven kingdoms!
I've never read GRACELING but I've heard tons of good stuff about it :)
ReplyDeleteHope this book makes you go squee!!
