Q: Have you ever bought a book BECAUSE of a bad review?A: Nope. I have, however, borrowed one from the library because of it. I read the review of the hilariously bad The Playboy Sheikh's Virgin Stable-Girl at Smart Bitches, Trashy Books and laughed until my ribs ached and I was almost falling out my chair. I placed a hold on it immediately and read it a few days later. I really didn't read the book to prove a "negative" review wrong or anything; I read it purely for entertainment value. It did not disappoint.
